Adding an app to the shelf/ task bar

• click on the magnifying glass below.
• app launcher will open> click on all apps
• find desired app >two finger or left click
• click on pin to shelf

I searched for this for awhile and am sure the process has changed since I first started using google classroom.  Put your frequently used apps on the shelf for easy access.

Google+ Communities   

Google+ is a great way to connect with the rest of the staff without having to travel up and down the hall to ask questions or put out some information that others might see helpful.
Look into the public forms for educational companies and maybe join one or two to comment or ask questions online.

The month will be a beginning to a new turn in a very jagged teaching career. I will begin working in a technology position which is a position that I enter with trepidation.  I am excited to be teaching a subject that is cutting edge, but worried that I will be overwhelmed as a digital immigrate who must learn sometime right along with my students.  Hopefully, I will try to learn these 7 characteristics of a competent teacher!
